Testing Laboratory

The Testing Laboratory performs mainly tests for demonstrating compliance with the requirements of legal provisions concerning the placing of products on the market and CE marking, in particular the LVD and ECODESIGN directives (2014/35/EU and 2009/125/EU).

Since 1995 the laboratory has been certified by the Polish Centre for Accreditation No.  AB 044, which covers many categories of electrical products (scope of accreditation).

At the Clients’ request, tests are also perform outside the current scope of accreditation (for example: tests of products according to the manufacturers’ own specifications – constructional tests of products).

In the case of tests for which it is necessary to use non-standard methods, clear arrangements regarding the client’s requirements and the purpose of the testing are subject to separate arrangements. All tests, unless agreed otherwise, are performed in accordance with the principles of the quality management system according to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025.

The results of each test or series of tests carried out by the laboratory shall be reported in a test report. This document may be issued in Polish or/and in English.

Bilateral and multilateral agreements concluded with many foreign units on the recognition of test reports in certification processes, allow our clients to avoid repeated costly tests in foreign laboratories.

The test reports are:

  • the basis for issuing relevant certificates by the Certification Body (domestic or foreign)
  • one of the important elements of technical documentation prepared by the manufacturer of electrical products before issuing the Declaration of Conformity and marking the product with the CE mark, confirming compliance with the essential requirements of the relevant directive or directives.
